Reply with quote | #1 | So i don't know what I am going to say, so here goes.
This is a message written with no specific direction or purpose, except to convey my need for Christ. I have had a crappy week and I need him more and more. My friend the ninga could tell I have not been eating well. I didn't eat very much today, instead I drank lots of fluids and ate a little trail mix. How can one human not eat for forty days and nights? I feel weak and unsure of what lies ahead. I used to eat about 2500 calories a day, but the last two weeks my intake has been around 1000, but who's counting. Right now my head hurts and I want to eat, but I am sitting at the coffee shop writing this stupid message. Christ is the body I eat of and drink from. Why are we told to not worry about our bodies? How did the world start putting so much emphasis on the human form? From overweight to rail thin, the healthy die just the same, and a casket can be made in any size. I drove past a funeral home thinking when will I get a trip there. Jay and Jackie almost had their turn Sunday. Now they praise Christ that they just need a new car. How strange is it that cars break so easily. Did God allow this accident to happen just so I could have something to write about today??????????
The world keeps turning...duh...but Christ is now, yesterday, tomorrow, as far as the ear can hear, as far as the eye can see, stronger than a Starbucks triple latte, but loving as a mother giving her son a hug after 5 years of deployment, louder than 11, but quieter than a whisper, He is the blamed, the first, last, and hope.
read on only if you have the stomach for it.
You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die. You will die.
will it be tomorrow, Tuesday, Thanksgiving day, the day after that, or will you be given 30 more years? The plan is in action now as you sit there reading, thinking.
The time is coming. prepare to die. __________________ Romans 16:20 |

Maybe it had something to do with the "crappy" week & something about not eating well....just trying to lift a brotha up. I was also bummed that there were no bunnies!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't trick people like that - it's cruel! |

Reply with quote | #6 | Bunnies are quite a mindless animal. All of this time and evolution and they still haven't learned to cross the street correctly. Now an extreme chipmunk - that's an animal I wouldn't want to mess with.

Reply with quote | #10 | Yes. Stino, I'm going to have agree. I don't believe people can handle controversy on here either. I'm rethinking my previous notion of inviting others to the Frequency forum. I'm not opposed to anyone in any capacity joining our forum, but I've come to the understanding that we don't need pointless controversy - and despite our intentions, I think that's exactly what it would turn into. So I guess I would say invite people if they need help or have questions, not to spark up some controversy. I've long been a member of the Xterra owners club forum and am very reluctant to ask a question about a maintenance problem or something else concerning my vehicle for fear of everyone arguing about the answer. I leave the forum with my question unanswered and bitter because of all the stupidity of the people who offer their opinion without ever knowing what they are talking about. Let's not allow the Frequency forum turn into such a product.

Reply with quote | #11 | Hmmmm.....controversy is NOT a bad thing to add here...I wish we had more of it but it's difficult to stir the pot in here amongst us because 1. there's not many of us conversing and 2. we all know each other outside this box.
It's too easy for us to "psychoanalyze" our posts for fear of offending/hurting someone. The computer is not an ideal place to convey opinions without adding a bunch of emoticons to express sarcasm, humor, or whatnots. I go on another forum and I can say whatever I want, pick a fight, complain about anything and no one is there to correct me, nobody knows me. I've been to the forum that crashdog is talking about and it's actually kind of funny. They don't like him on there because he's challenging their way of thinking. One of 'em told him to "go hang yourself". (the irony of that response was hilarious!)
We're prob going to be a little wary of the newbies and they may not play by all the rules but I say; give this forum to Him, and whoever He brings on here...GAME ON!!! __________________ Use me at Your own risk, God! <>< |

Reply with quote | #14 | No offense, but I and my friends (outside of frequency) don't have time to converse in digital conversation with no real value - kind of like fight club. Why would you let the crap get kicked out of you for no reason? I have more important things to do. Although, when I do find a bit of time, I like to visit the forum to see what my friends have written or what people are doing this weekend - not to argue with someone about atheism. No, controversy is not always a bad thing - but it most cases it is pointless.
I've seen the graveyard forum you are referring to, and if the frequency forum ever presents the mindless name-calling and random put downs Ive seen there - then this forum will cease to exist. Most ministries won't even institute a forum for these reasons - in fact it is my speculation that this is why the 707 forum was taken down. I still renig my previous notion of inviting those from the graveyard forum, especially having seen what they continue to discuss. If someone is in need or searching - more power to them - not the person looking for pointless discussion, to argue or prove a point.
So far, the forum is being used exactly as it was originally intended - for the Frequency community to discuss topics and events. I would like to see more action on here and and completely open to outside visitors - but nothing to tarnish the integrity Frequency has already established.

Okay, so better late than never i reckon ! First and foremost...Welcome Ninja glad your here! Second, controversy is NOT pointless mr. dactyl...it is meant to challenge people's strong held beilefs wether they are good/bad, wrong/right is unimportant...it's to exemplify another way of thinking and/or seeing something. Otherwise, you just sit in your box and talk to yourself all day long! Crash, don't be knocking others for trying to lift you up...whether you think you needed it or not it was an extension of kindness...ACCEPT IT! And I concur, I do not fear death for I know exactly where I am going and there certainly are days I couldn't be more ready! -AMEN __________________ "You can't seek God and stay the same!" -Kim Bolton |
