Sunday night, we talked about what the fact that even though we are saved by grace, we can't go doing whatever we want.  Fellowship with God involves a lifestlye of godlinless.  We talked about how Godliness means more than not sinning...it involves following Christ.

At Frequency, we have the mission of leading our generation in the adventure of becoming like Christ.

Here's my question: what specific things must we do as we follow Christ to fulfill this mission?

Well you can sum it all up from just this one passage from Matthew 22:37-40:

Quote:
'Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'  All the Law and the Prophets hand on these two commandments."

All things we do as Christians stem from this, Jesus even said the entire Law and Prophets hang on those commandments.  In other words the teaching of most of the Old Testament ride on understanding and believing these two commandments.

It should drive us to want to strengthen our relationship with God, through studying His Word, prayer, worship, serving, fighting sin, evangelizing others, strengthening other believers, being a good steward in all that we do, etc...so that we glorify God in every possible way.  Even Christ subjected Himself to the will of the Father, and so we also must do the same.

I could say a lot more, but I am very tired.
